Beyond The Board: Education For Change

As the school year winds down, we’re proud to celebrate the first year of Beyond the Board — a weekend school program developed in collaboration with The Hunt Foundation.

Held every weekend in Addis Ababa, Beyond the Board combined academic tutoring and skateboarding lessons, creating a unique space where learning and movement came together. Local volunteers — both students and professionals — played a vital role in mentoring participants and helping them grow both on and off the board.

We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and passion this year. The response from the students and the community has been inspiring, and we’re excited to continue building on this momentum next school year.
